Ancestry Garden

Individuals from different ancestry groups have divergent patterns of germline alterations across their genomes. This variability means that the ability of guide RNAs to direct Cas9 to specific locations in the genome may differ amongst individuals, causing more or less CRISPR guide mismatch in people of one ancestry than another. We partnered with the Cancer Program Team at the Broad to build a tool to visualize and interactively explore this variability across a variety of dimensions.

A visualization that looks like a flower, vizualizing divergent patterns of germline alterations across a individual's genome.
