DepMap Data Portal Interface

In acquiring a cancer-causing mutation, a cell may scramble to compensate for the intrusion. Such a shift may turn an otherwise non-essential protein into one crucial for the survival of the cancer cell only, a dependency that renders that protein a promising drug target. We helped to design analysis tools for the Cancer Dependency Map (DepMap) portal to empower the research community to discover such genetic dependencies, small molecule sensitivities and predictive biomarkers.
